Nokomis Beautification Committee Nurturing biodiversity and community enjoyment while increasing the overall beauty of our town.

“Bringing Communities to Life” is CiB's slogan and it captures the essence of the program. Our goal in Nokomis is to enhance the overall beauty and appearance of our town, for both residents and visitors, to inspire creativity and community participation, and to generate more community pride. While plants are a big part of the program, CiB is about so much more. Please see the national website @ https://www.communitiesinbloom.ca/ for further information.

Our committee was busy decorating our annual truck displays this morning - with one truck located by Nokomis Centennial Hall and the other located across from the Nokomis Hotel/ Edwards Mechanical.

You might notice our displays look a little different this year as we are missing our square bales - if anyone has any they would like to donate for the display, we are happy to return them at the end of the season. 🍂

We have a great line up of garage sales and lots of vendors at the town hall! Grab a bite to eat at the Baptist church - pulled pork on a bun or the Legion for a burger and fries! Our friends in Semans are also having a town garage sale, the trip will be worth it to hit both communities!

If you are looking to be added to the garage sale list please get in touch with Shyla
