A reminder that our AGM is this Friday, April 24, Drinks and Social start at 5pm at The Maples Golf Course- 170 Wolseley Bay Road, Noelville.

Even though the season ended sooner than we would have liked we didn't stop working on the trails. We used a good portion of our funds from past fundraising efforts to do some much need trail brushing. Shawn Rancourt took care of the brushing for us with a slick new attachment for his excavator. We did several sections of trails focusing on areas where the tag alders were growing inwards. It will be a huge improvement in the riding experience for next year. If any clubs need to do some brushing reach out to Shawn Rancourt, 705-690-2807

Hopefully everyone had a safe and fun Family Day Weekend. It was a too mild even at night to run the groomers but they will be out again today and tomorrow getting things flat and smooth again. The forecast looks pretty good for the next 2 weeks. Let's keep the season going!

Special thanks to Robert of The Shop Industrial Inc. D11 started the week with 6 groomers down, thanks to our dedicated and highly skilled volunteers several issues were resolved with Rob's support, after some more hours in the snow bank Rob was able to resolve another 2 and we anticipate the final issue to be resolved tomorrow. We want to recognize Robs expertise, approachability, and continued dedication to support the fleet. Often resolving issues with a phone call, reducing down time and frustration for our club volunteers, and with many competing priorities we thank TSI for their outstanding assistance and unwavering support during this high pressure period.

We added some colour to the ITG! A huge Thank You to all the volunteers who helped pack trails, staked lakes, installed signage, wrenched on the argos and groomers and got land use agreements signed. We couldn't do it without you.

Check the ITG for the latest trail conditions.

Unfortunately, we have had to close our trails we opened Wednesday evening. We didn't do a big celebration post for open trails as the forecast didn't look good. However, the weather today is warmer and wetter than initially forecasted. Hopefully we receive the snow forecasted Saturday night and next week we can be grooming again. The plan now is to have a portion of them open for next weekend.
