On April 6th, YPCE brought the community together for our Annual Family Engagement Day at Adventure Camp—and what a beautiful day it was! With the sun shining, families and children enjoyed the great outdoors through music, hands-on activities, and a meaningful Indigenous tribute that made the day even more special.

This year’s celebration was extra memorable as we marked YPCE’s 40th anniversary of providing quality child care across York Region and Simcoe County. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special—we can’t wait to see you again next year! 🌞

The fun continues at Hidden Bay. Our Week 3&4 campers had a great time getting out in the canoes and kayaks, with silly theme days and with traditional camp activities like low ropes, fire building and arts and crafts.

Hard to believe that the first half of the summer has flown past at Hidden Bay. We've had beach parties, slip & slides, campfires and games. We have built fires, made friends, given out so many Future Aces, and cut so many boondoggles.

We have had starry nights, and rainstorms, a flooded lake and blazing sun.

At the halfway point it is nice to pause and reflect on all the joy, laughter and smiles that each summer brings.
