The Nipawin Elks and Royal Purple Elks where busy this past weekend, we had members at a soccer meet in Nipawin, and members flipping pancakes and finalizing the scholarship draw. And Elks can travel long distances too; we also had members all the way down in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan for Saskatchewan Provincial Elks meetings and elections. And two of our very own were elected for seats. Brother Tyler Shore is provincial Chaplin and our very own Brother Neil MacMillan is now the 1st Vice President. Congratulations members!! You represent our community well!

We are pleased to announce the winners of our Scholarship Cash Lottery: Jan Hunter, winner of $500; Doreen Bliech, winner of $1000; and Nadia Smith, the grand prize winner of $1500. Our gratitude extends to all who participated in our second annual lottery, with ticket sales benefiting three L.P Miller graduates with $1000 scholarships each.

Congratulations to Dallas!! He was our $50 wild game winner!!
Also!! Shirley Bell won one of the max Nevada prizes today. Couldn't have gone to a more deserving person. Also had a $100 Nevada winner. It was a winning kind of day!!
