Proclamation – World Polio Day

The Town of Nipawin is proud to recognize October 24, 2025 as World Polio Day in support of Rotary International and its global efforts to eradicate polio.

Rotary and its partners have helped reduce polio cases by over 99% since 1988, protecting billions of children through vaccination programs around the world. Their continued dedication, volunteer efforts, and partnerships with global health organizations have brought us closer than ever to ending polio for good.

We thank the Rotary Club of Nipawin and Rotary members across northeast Saskatchewan for their ongoing humanitarian service and commitment to building healthier, stronger communities.

Together, we can help make history—End Polio Now.
