American Doctor - follows three American physicians— Palestinian, Jewish, and Zoroastrian— as they embark on medical missions in besieged hospitals in Gaza and return home determined to fight for the patients and colleagues they left behind.

We will be a vendor at the upcoming Camp Coyote Bones! It will be taking place at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls on September 26th, this Saturday, from 11 AM – 6 PM. We will be offering a variety of items and handmade goods. Chef Alaa will also be providing delicious food for purchase. Every purchase helps raise funds to support local Gazan families.

‼️YARD SALE ‼️

Join us on Saturday, September 12th between 8 AM to 1 PM - your chance for treasure hunting that directly supports Palestinian families in need!

All yard sale proceeds and any donations will be divided among Palestinian families in Niagara, used to support their family members in Gaza and Egypt until they can all be reunited in Canada.

Available for purchase will be clothing, books, toys, housewares, and more! Come out to learn about our the families and make connections with the Niagara Palestine Coalition. Let’s transform lives by finding new homes for pre-loved items.

Have you been to one of our monthly Tatreez Circle/Arts Night events yet?

We offer supplies and support to those learning this traditional Palestinian embroidery technique, but also welcome artists to work on any medium in support of Palestine in this space.

Whether you sew, sketch, paint, write, or make art in other mediums, please feel free to bring your project out to the Hobby Shop Saint Kitts from 7 pm to 9 pm and join us. We are happy to invite anyone using art as a form of resistance in support of the people of Palestine.

Regular attendance is not necessary, but we will continue to gather in this space on the second Tuesday of every month.

‼️NAKBA DAY‼️

Come join the Niagara Palestine Coalition on Nakba Day, Friday May 15th, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Niagara Islamic School (140 Haig Street St. Catharines) for this year’s Art Gallery and Vendor Fair. Local vendors will have handmade items and food available for purchase while you browse the art pieces submitted by artists of all ages. Select pieces will be available for purchase in auction format, with all proceeds going towards supporting our local Palestinian families with kin in Gaza and Egypt. There will also be an interactive and collaborative art installation to memorialize the Nakba. Any questions regarding art pieces or vendor spaces should be directed via email to [email protected]

Stay tuned for both an artist and vendor carousel in the days leading up to our event!

'Tis the season! To plant a garden, to believe in tomorrow, and to care for one another.

Join us at our fundraising plant sale, featuring dozens of varieties of plants, seedlings, and seeds, all accessibly priced between $2 and $6. Proceeds go to the families supported by the Niagara Palestine Coalition, as well as to the Gaza Sunbirds organization.

Bring your mum or maternal figure, bring a friend, bring your green thumb! You can bring gardening questions too, because there will be a few knowledgeable folks on hand.

Also available for purchase: light food, and works by local artisans.

‼️CALL FOR ARTISTS‼️

The Niagara Palestine Coalition is once again looking for artists of all ages and abilities to help us build a community tribute to Palestine. All types of art are welcome, whether paint, pottery, poetry, or an unconventional art form - we want to showcase appreciation for Palestinian history and culture in many ways.

All submissions should be labeled with artist name and phone number if artists want to collect their work following the gallery display on May 15th; art may alternatively be donated for purchase by attendees as part of our continued fundraising efforts to support our four Niagara Gazan families. All submissions are to be dropped off at Hobby Shop Saint Kitts at 401 St. Paul Street (Wednesday to Sunday between 11 and 2 PM or by appointment). Submissions are requested to be delivered on or before May 10. Please reach out to [email protected] for any questions regarding your submission.
