We had a great time joining the The Catholic Women's League of Canada (CWL St. Catharines) to discuss food recovery and deliver some La Tablée des Chefs Solidarity Soups for the 'Out of The Cold' program.

As part of a grant with MAZON Canada, The Bridge was able to purchase appliances for two local elementary schools.

These schools are part of our food recovery program and we look forward to working together to expand their food storage capacity/ boost food programs DSBN. 👏📝🖍📋

As The Bridge grows its refrigeration capacity, two of our older fridges found a new home at Warner’s Farm in Lincoln today.

Last month, The Bridge was honoured to receive a 'Community Partnership Award' from YWCA Niagara.

The YWCA is one of 25 local organizations united through our food recovery network, supporting communities across the Niagara Region.

This time last Saturday we had our last Pop-Up Market of 2025🎉Because of our fantastic community partners, we were able to give away extra FREE goodies before the holidays!

Thank you so much The Bridge for donating Tim Hortons baked goods to our market many times this year - not only did families in Niagara get to enjoy these sweet treats, but also our friends at Birchway Niagara who receive any extra produce and baked goods from our market!

Food Recovery Fall Update: The Bridge has recovered over 14,200 food portions from donor venues across the Niagara Region since the beginning of Fall.

Additionally, the Solidarity Soups program has launched successfully with the collection and distribution of 4 skids of frozen soup, equaling thousands of pounds, with the goal of feeding hundreds of students and community members in need.

Last week, The Bridge attended the La Tablée des Chefs Gala in Toronto!

It was an inspiring night to hear about the continued growth of La Tablée and see the community come together in support of food recovery and food education. Over $240,000 dollars was raised!
