June is Indigenous History Month and Pride Month 🧡
We celebrate honour both, and our ancestors and history with much love. Because that is who we are.

The month highlights the resilience, strength, and ongoing contributions of our Indigenous communities, acknowledging the historical and ongoing challenges we face.
Love, respect, and remember that we are here and always have been. Since time immemorial.
And we are not going anywhere, we will stand on our land and show love.

National Indigenous History Month is a time to learn, reflect and take action.
Since time immemorial, Indigenous Peoples have lived on and cared for the lands we now know as British Columbia. Today, the province is home to more than 200 First Nations, each with distinct languages, cultures and ways of knowing.

We also recognize the rich cultures of Métis and Inuit peoples.
