Today’s mission: explore Downtown New West using only good weather 😎☀️

🚲 Grabbed e-bikes outside Anvil Centre
🎨 Checked out the new public art along the BC Parkway, right at the SkyTrain guideway pillars on Stewardson Way📍
🧋 Refueled with bubble tea at 
 🌿 Ended the day at the newly opened Phase 1 of Park C at Pier Park📍

Downtown New West just keeps giving us reasons to get outside and explore. 🤌

We’re officially less than a month away from the first Fridays On Front 2026, and your favourite street festival is practically bursting at the sequins to reveal what we’ve got planned for opening night. 🎉

Let’s just say...

🍸✨ HAPPY WORLD COCKTAIL DAY ✨🍸

To celebrate, we sent our Summer Interns Ben W-B and Ben H on a very important mission: trying some of downtown New West’s most popular cocktails 👀🍹

Here’s where the sipping crawl took us:

🍋 The Perfect Storm at : Bacardi rum, ginger beer, lime juice, sliced lemon

🔥 Hot Toddy with a twist at .ca: Perfect if you love a warm beverage with lime, honey, and whisky. Plus, we also tried and recommend the Spanish Coffee for the designated drivers. Both of these drinks are available every day, every time. If you’re in the mood for the full list of cocktails, Craft Cafe’s bar is open from Thursdays to Saturdays starting at 5 pm.

🌺 These 2 cocktails at will transport you to the tropics: Spicy Tiki Mai Tai (rum, tequila, brandy, punch juice mix, angostura bitters and mint leaves) + Quay Breeze Punch (Long Island mixed, fruit punch and blue curaçao).
