The K.O.C was very happy to have the crew from SATURDAYS MEMORIAL RACES held at the northide downs stop by with there WINNERS BANNER...this year's memorial race was for 3 local legends in our horsemen community..RAY GILLIS...SPIKE GILLIS..AND BARRY JOE BATES....THANKS GUYS ,,AND GOD BLESS OUR FALLEN..

WELCOME BACK FOLKS....FOR ANOTHER WEEKEND OF THE K.O.C MAPLEHILL MANOR CHASE THE ACE....WOW CANT BELIEVE HOW BIG THIS POT IS RAISING GOING INTO OUR 47TH WEEKEND....SO FOLKS LETS GET ONTO IT....Last week's winners, unfortunately could not find that crazy ACE OF SPADES.as it still sits hidden among 4 other cards...so with 5 cards remaining I personaly believe the EST JACKPOT WILL REACH.....$$.100,000,00...YUP THAT NUMBER IS CORRECT..that total has the 20% pick prize included..as last week's winners still left with $ 6500.00 bucks not bad for a $5 ticket...The entertainment at our venues for this Sunday is.......K.O.C..NEWATERFORD FROM 4PM TILL 7PM IS OLIVE STREET PLAYING ALL YOUR FAVORITE TUNES...NEWATERFORD LEGION (upstairs,there is also a mobility ramp around back for easier accessibility...)from 3PM TO 6PM..we have the talented DEBBIE MAC MULLIN BELTING OUT ALL HER FAVORITE TUNES..HOPE 2 SEE EVERYONE AROUND FOR A GREAT AFTERNOON OF MUSIC B**R MAKING FRIENDS AND HOPEFULLY FILLING YOUR POCKETS FULL OF CASH...The legion also has a Meatroll from 2pm till 4pm downstairs on Sunday...(which is an awesome time...)you can get tickets at the K.O.C during regular hours,..reminder THE K.O.C OPENS AT 12 PM ON SUNDAYS...ALSO ACROSS THE ROAD AT FRASERS CONVEINCE DURING WORKING HOURS..AND SUNDAY FROM 2PM TILL 5PM AT THE NEWATERFORD LEGION (UPSTAIRS) THE CUT OFF FOR THE DRAW HAPPENS AT 3.30 PM AT FRASERS AND 5 PM AT OTHER LOCATIONS DRAW TIME IS ALL SET FOR 6PM.....WITH HOPEFULLY A LIVE BROADCAST ON THIS SITE AT 5.45...SO FOLKS GET OUT EARLY GET IN THE DRAW EARLY AND THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS OUR CHACE THE ACE, AND ALL OUR COMMUNITY INITIATIVES...GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALLL

A Proud Night for Council 3209 New Waterford Nova Scotia!

Something truly special happened Tuesday night at Knights of Columbus Council 3209 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, as 14 candidates took part in the Exemplification and proudly became Third Degree members of the Knights of Columbus.

This memorable occasion was also a celebration of outstanding leadership and commitment. Under the guidance of Worthy Grand Knight George Demeter, Council 3209 has already achieved an incredible 175% of its annual recruiting goal—and it is only October!

Worthy Grand Knight George has championed a “Get Younger” campaign, with a clear vision of welcoming a new generation of members and helping to secure a strong and vibrant future for the Council.
