Cape Breton Ramblerettes

A morning battle with a strong Yarmouth Gateway team saw the teams taking turns having big innings. Bad day to be a baseball as the bats were hot on both sides. Yarmouth would pull away in the late innings to take the game 16-9.

The afternoon saw both aces going in a Ramblerettes / Hammonds Plains bout. A pitcher’s dual and an exciting 4-3 walk off win for the A’s.

The Hammond’s Plains win cemented the 3-0 Yarmouth Gateway Girls their Provincial banner. Congratulations from the Ramblerettes!

Three teams finished 1-2 with the tie breaker being defensive runs against allowing the Ramblerettes to capture a silver medal.

We’d like to thank all of our dedicated families and fans for all of your support this year. We couldn’t do it without you.

Go Ramblerettes!

This weekend, your Ramblerettes hit the road for their biggest four game set of the season.

In a clash of the titans three way matchup The Ramblerettes take on The Hammonds Plains A’s and The Yarmouth Gateway Girls on Saturday. A preview of what awaits these three teams as they’ll meet in tier 1 provincials in New Waterford at the end of the month.

Sunday lines The Ramblerettes up against The Truro Bearcats (Red) for a double header on their way back home.

The season has been building to these games and the girl’s have been hard at work preparing. Time to set a tone heading into Provincials and leave it all on the field.

Let’s go Ramblerettes!
