Sherbrooke Lake Camp

SLC is a fun sleep-away summer camp for campers age 5-15. Think of us as a good ol' fashioned sleep away camp: canoeing, crafts, games, campfires & more!

This is a meeting place for all those who are friends of the magical place that is Sherbrooke Lake United Church Camp. Sherbrooke is a welcoming and affirming place for youth of all backgrounds. Whether you are a current camper or staff looking for updates, or an alumni looking to share memories, or even someone who has never been to Sherbrooke but wants to know what we are all about.

🚩WELCOME BACK KRISTEN🚩

We're giving a great big WOOHOO as we welcome Kristen (she/her) back to our team as a counsellor and CIT Program Lead!

Kristen's favourite thing to do at camp is definitely play capture the flag! She's determined that in a game of rock paper scissors between a water buffalo or a great blue Herron, the water buffalo takes the win, no problem!
"This camp is your camp" (The Camp Song) is the lodge song that speaks most to her as it's very nostalgic of her days as a camper! If she could visit any planet it would be Neptune!

🌲WELCOME BACK BRAYDON🌲

Returning as a second year counsellor and CIT Program Lead is Braydon (he/him)!

Braydon's favourite thing to do at camp is play Gagaball! If he could have any superpower it would be to control nature because he thinks it would be super cool to be able to grow trees and move water however he wants!

We are jazzed to welcome him back to our team this summer!

We're over the moon to welcome Ellis (she/her) back for a second summer on our team as a counsellor!

Ellis' favourite thing to do at camp is swim in our gorgeous lake! If she could have any magic power it would be to fly so she could see all the beautiful nature around the world!

New to our team as a counsellor this year is Jessie (she/her)!

Jessie's favourite thing about camp is campfire! If she could have any superpower it would be teleportation so she could travel anywhere in the world that she wanted to!

We're so excited to have her join our team!

Anna (she/her) is returning to our team this year as a counsellor and one of our faith formation leaders!, We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her back!

Anna's favourite thing to do at camp is go on a thoughtful nature walk! If she had a superpower it would be to control the weather so that she could match it to her mood each day!

We are so excited to welcome Clara (she/they) back to camp for our summer 2026 season!

Clara's favourite thing to do at camp is play capture the flag! Pharaoh Pharaoh, and the Titanic song are tied for top lodge song! If Clara could have any superpower it would be super speed or the ability to fly!

🛶WELCOME BACK CHARLIE!🛶

Charlie (he/him) will be joining our summer team for his second year as a counsellor and canoe instructor!

It's not much of a surprise that Charlie's favourite thing to do at camp is canoe! He thinks that the water buffalos should start a canoe racing team!
If he had a magic power it would definitely be flying.
Fun fact: his favourite pasta shape is tagliatelle (because e likes how it sounds!)

We're so thrilled to have him back on our team this summer!

💫WELCOME BACK QUINN💫

We think it's about time we begin to introduce you to our outrageously amazing 2026 summer team!

First up, we welcome back Quinn (she/her) as one half of our Rec Team! Quinn will spend another summer crafting up ways to get artsy as our Craft Master! Her favourite thing to do at camp is jump into the bog on a hot day!
If she could visit any planet she would choose Saturn because she thinks sliding on the ring would be loads of fun!

We are so thrilled to have her spend another summer creating magic with us!

🎉🎂We’re wishing a very happy birthday to our handyman Greg! 🎂🎉

For the last few years he’s been at camp behind the scenes fixing, building and beautifying camp! We’re so thankful for all he does!
