The wait is over, Rocky! This sweet boy has officially found his forever family!

We couldn’t be happier knowing that Rocky is heading off to start this exciting new chapter of his life, filled with love, comfort, and all the happiness he deserves. Every animal who comes through our doors leaves a little piece of our hearts behind, and Rocky is no exception.

Rescue work isn’t always easy, but moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. Watching a dog go from waiting for a family to finally having one of his very own makes every long day worth it.

Congratulations to Rocky and his new family! May your lives be filled with endless cuddles, adventures, laughter, and unconditional love. Thank you for choosing adoption and giving this boy his happily ever after!

❤️🐾 WE CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY. 🐾❤️

For the past 8 years, we have been working tirelessly to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for animals in need. We have been able to keep going because of the incredible support of our community.

Now, we are working toward something we have dreamed of for years a permanent location of our own instead of continuing to rent.

This is a huge step for our rescue and will give us the stability and space we need to continue helping animals for years to come. But getting there comes with a very large financial commitment, and we cannot do it alone.

Every $5, $10, $20 or $50 helps us get closer to making this dream a reality. And if you aren’t able to donate, sharing this post can make just as much of a difference.

Yesterday, a little puppy was reported as being “found.” Since then, we have received an anonymous message informing us that this sweet boy may have actually been dumped.

Whatever the circumstances, one thing we know for sure is that this little guy deserves a chance.

Wylie is just 13 weeks old and is now safely in care with us. He has already had a visit with the vet, and we will make sure he gets all the love, care, and attention he deserves.

It breaks our hearts to think of a puppy so young being left to fend for himself. He is just a baby who depends on people to keep him safe.

🙏 Please remember that shelters and rescues are an option! If you are struggling, if your circumstances change, or if you can no longer care for an animal, please reach out for help.

We would much rather receive a message asking for help than see an animal abandoned and left wondering why nobody came back for them.

Northern Animals Rescue and Sanctuary is urgently looking for compassionate people and families willing to open their homes to dogs in need of a safe place to land.

Behind every dog looking for a home is a life that matters. Some dogs are scared, some are confused, some have never known the comfort of a loving home, and others simply need a safe place to stay while they wait for their forever family.

We cannot save them without people willing to foster.

🏡 WHY IS FOSTERING SO IMPORTANT?

Shelters and rescues have limited space, and every available foster home can make a life-changing difference. When a dog enters a foster home, it gives them more than just a place to sleep. It gives them a chance to feel safe, loved, and understood.

Meet Bubbles 🫧

This sweet boy has found himself with us, at no fault of his own. He is 1.5 years old, fully vaccinated, and neutered. His breed is mastiff mix.

Bubbles is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, he wants to have all the love and attention for himself. He loves to play tug of war, loves car rides, and walks. He is crate trained and house trained. He is good with cats, older children preferred.
He is a very happy energetic boy!

We have no idea how this sweet girl is still with us, she is the absolute best girl!

Marley is a sweet 5.5 year old girl with a BIG personality! She’s not afraid to speak up when she wants something and absolutely loves being near her people.

Marley loves her boy dog friends, is silly, playful, and just a little bit of a Houdini! Her clever ways will keep you on your toes!

Alan Jackson is a handsome all black boy kitten with the cutest little white spot on his chest. He’s also the biggest boy of the bunch! He is still leafing to come out of his shell, all he needs is a little time and patience.

Alan has a very special way of showing his love. The last couple of nights, he’s climbed onto his foster’s chest in the middle of the night and gently cleaned her face, because apparently she needed a little help! 😂
