And that’s a wrap on the U-20 Canadian Curling Championships and on the 2025-2026 curling season, and what a season it was!!!!
Our season started off with lots of growing pains but with lots of work, dedication and perseverance we achieved our goals of qualifying for the Ontario Winter Games and the U-18 Canadian Curling Championships. Once that was achieved we decided to set one more goal to qualify for the U-20 Canadian Curling Championships and we achieved that as well!
This past week in Sudbury was a great learning experience playing against some strong seasoned teams from across Canada. Even though we are a very young team we played hard and managed to come out with 1 win!!!
We would like to thank the organizing committee, the umpires, the many volunteers, Curling Canada and the amazing ice technicians that worked hard all week to ensure that we had the best ice conditions to play on!!!
A big shout out and thank you to Sophie Perreault for joining us this past week as our alternate! Much appreciated!!!
To our sponsors who have supported us from day one, we are so very grateful to you all!!! We could not have achieved these goals without your financial support that allowed us to participate in numerous spiels that prepared us for the National stage.
Thank you to our families, fans and supporters both near and away! We appreciate your constant support and encouragement! We love you all!!!
Finally, to our coach Steve, words cannot express our gratitude for your commitment and dedication to our team. We could not have achieved all these goals without you!!! We are eternally grateful for your expertise and your belief in us.
