Tomorrow night (May 5) 7pm is our AGM Meeting will include a sum of of the activities the past year as well as election of new officers for our board. Everyone welcome. Please attend and see how important your input is to the running of your community centre.

Volunteer recognition. As honored as we are we acknowledge there’s so many more who stand with us and keep things running smoothly. Today Creighton Sangster (OLR), Kathleen Laing (NH&AFC) Lori Sangster (HCC) and Anna Nickerson (NHDC) received certificates from MODG and councillor Susan Cashin.

What a time we had today! Thank you to Harbourview Community Centre, Harbourview Volunteer Fire Department, Larry’s River Volunteer Fire Department, Municipality Of Guysborough Recreation Department, for providing funding for this event. Thanks for the tips left at darts each week, Thank you NexGold for providing books for everyone. Thanks to our elves for giving up your day for the kids of our communities. Mallori and Lux for providing a craft, Chandra Nickerson for the yummy sugar cookies to decorate, Tina Pinkham for the loan of the pretty backdrops. The winner of the wreath was Christina Nickerson, the winner of the door prize was Bridget Pirie. Special thanks to our ever popular Santa Clause! Merry Christmas to all!
