MCC Ontario is looking for a Thrift Growth & Performance Manager to strengthen leadership, improve business performance and help shape the future of our Thrift Network.

You’ll coach General Managers, use financial and operational data to turn insight into action and help evaluate new shops, social enterprises and other growth opportunities. Working alongside thrift and organizational leaders, you’ll help strengthen operations, develop leaders and build the long-term sustainability and impact of MCC Ontario Thrift.

After devastating flash flooding in Nepal, MCC is working with local partners to provide emergency relief to affected communities. Support includes food, clean water supplies, hygiene and dignity kits, bedding, clothing and psychosocial care, alongside ongoing recovery efforts.

Every donation, purchase and volunteer hour at MCC Thrift helps support local and global projects through MCC, including emergency response when communities need it most.

We hope you enjoy your weekend surrounded by loved ones. We are thankful for our committed volunteers, faithful and enthusiastic shoppers, and our donors. We're also grateful for the land we live and work on, home to Indigenous peoples for generations past and present.

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, MCC honours residential school Survivors and their families, who have suffered so much harm from Canada’s IRS system. In alignment with TRC Calls to Action 59 and 60, MCC supports educational and peacebuilding work such as the KAIROS Blanket Exercise, to teach a truer history of Canada, including governmental and church roles in the colonization of this land.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we pause to honour and remember the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and the children who never came home. Every child matters. 🧡

MCC Thrift New Hamburg is located on the traditional territory of the Neutral (Attawandaron), Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Mississauga peoples. We also acknowledge the Dish with One Spoon Covenant, a peace agreement among Indigenous nations to share the land and take only what we need. We are grateful to live, work and gather on these lands.

Through MCC Ontario's Indigenous Neighbours team, we invite churches and individuals to learn alongside First Peoples so we can work together toward healing and justice.
