The Hawkesbury Legion is very saddened to announce the death of WWll Veteran and long-time member Mr. Claude Guy Lalonde.
Mr. Lalonde was just a few days away from his 107th birthday.
He was one of the oldest, if not the oldest, WWll Canadian Veteran.
Our sincere sympathy to Mr. Lalonde's family and many friends.
He will be missed.

La Légion de Hawkesbury a la profonde tristesse d'annoncer le décès de M. Claude Guy Lalonde, vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et membre de longue date.

M. Lalonde aurait eu 107 ans dans quelques jours. Il était l'un des plus anciens, sinon le plus ancien, vétérans canadiens de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Nous présentons nos sincères condoléances à la famille et aux nombreux amis de M. Lalonde.

Il nous manquera beaucoup.

Please have a look at the list and see what you can provide our Veterans at Parkwood. Donations can be dropped off at Branch 532 New Hamburg 65 Boullee St. Please check our website newhamburglegion.ca for hours of operation.
