Join us for Kitchen Table Talks: Keeping Energy Affordable at Home, a newcomer-friendly community conversation hosted by the Ecology Action Centre and the Pictou County Partnership.

💡 Together we’ll explore:
- understanding energy bills in Nova Scotia
- simple ways to reduce costs at home
- heating and electricity tips
- programs and supports available through Efficiency Nova Scotia

🏠 This session may be especially helpful if you are:
- new to Canada and/or Nova Scotia
- renting or buying your first home
- adjusting to heating and energy bills in Canada
- trying to better understand monthly household costs

🌱✨ YREACH is excited to participate in the upcoming New Roots Community Sessions for Immigrant and Migrant Women!

These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, learn useful information, build community, and have fun in a welcoming environment.

💼✨ On May 11th, we hosted a Resume and Cover Letter Workshop in collaboration with Career Connections!

Participants had the opportunity to learn valuable tips and strategies for building strong resumes and cover letters to support their employment journey and career goals.

💜 Celebrating International Women’s Day Together! 💜

Last Sunday we had a wonderful time celebrating International Women’s Day with our Latin Dance Rhythms event. It was a joyful afternoon filled with music, movement, and community spirit. 💃✨

A special thank you to Monica Beltrame for sharing her talent and energy as our dance instructor and helping make this event such a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
