A huge thank you goes out to Halifax Professional Fire Fighters and our MP, Sean Fraser, for advocating
the safety of firefighters and the issues faced across Nova Scotia.

🇨🇦 Meeting with Minister Sean Fraser today in Ottawa during the IAFF Canadian Legislative Conference.

Our discussion focused on key issues impacting fire fighters and public safety, including Bill C-14 and the importance of strengthening protections for those who respond to emergencies across Canada.

We appreciated a constructive and engaging discussion with Minister Fraser on issues impacting fire fighter safety and public protection, along with helpful insight on advancing these priorities.

Thank you Minister Fraser for your work on Bill C-14 addressing assaults on first responders.

Fire Training Associates is excited to announce the Down East Engine Company Operations Training Day coming to Atlantic Canada in 2026.

Join us for 8 hours of hands-on engine company training focused on flowing, deployment and management of attack lines. This training will cover everything from bumper lines to long line deployments, providing practical skills that firefighters can immediately apply on the fire ground to effectively save lives and protect property.

Participants will also have the opportunity to flow with Jerry Herbst of Elkhart Brass, bringing valuable experience and insight into nozzle performance and engine company operations.
