Northern Region Respite Services

Northern Region Respite Services Northern Region Respite Services is managed by Highland Community Residential Services.

Respite Service provides support and assistance to adults, youth, and children living with intellectual disabilities. The Respite Coordinator helps match families with suitable respite providers. A respite database exists at http://respitens.ca/ which is used by the Respite Coordinator as well as by approved families and respite providers. Families who are interested in accessing respite services

can complete an online registration form at http://respitens.ca/. Our Pictou County Chapter also offers other services in conjunction with our 1-1 respite program. They are as follows:

- Respite Saturdays
- 19+ Respite Program
- Summer Recreation
- 19+ Inclusion Program
