MTBPC is a trail stewardship organization dedicated to the maintenance, development and use of recreational trail infrastructure across Pictou County, Nova Scotia. MTBPC currently maintains single track trail on Fitzpatrick Mountain and Trenton Park. If you are interested in helping out please keep an eye on this page for dig-day notifications! Well that was a winter!

Good news is the trails at Fitz are surprisingly dry with isolated snow cover concentrated at higher elevations and shaded areas.

For keeners it is a great time to get out and enjoy the trails!

Thanks to all that attended and a special thanks to for providing the post ride meal, for the beverages and for giving us the venue!

We had a total of 48 registrants raising a total of $1765 for the Fitzpatrick Mountain Trails!

Come out and help us prep for the Fondo!

Sunday Oct 5th 2025, 9:30 am

We are hosting a dig day this Sunday at Fitzpatrick Mountain. Parking on the corner of the Chalet Road, at the intersection of the 551. We will be working on sections of the lower loop trail tread.

All are welcome and no experience necessary!

We are continuing our no-drop Thursday night rides this year into the fall!

We will meet at the Scotsburn Trailhead Park for 6:30pm.

Make sure to bring headlamps!

Expect natural singletrack and rides lasting between 1 and 2 hours. These rides are self supported. Riders looking to come out should have sufficient lighting, a safe mountain bike, helmet and enough food and water to last the ride duration.
