Feast Light - West Kootenay The Feast is a Catholic prayer gathering of the Light of Jesus Family in West Kootenay, BC, Canada founded by Bro. Bo Sanchez. Everyone and anyone is welcome.

Our face-to-face Feast Light Session for the month of June got a little big exciting!

Join us on June 7, 2026 as we start a brand new series, "Pope Culture".

In this series, we dive deep to Pope Francis' 2013 Apostolic Exhortation, "EVANGELII GAUDIUM".

We start it off with Talk # 1, Evangelii with Bro. Nio Calonge!

But wait, there is more...

We will have our Feast in of the rooms of the Parish Hall of St. Rita's Parish in Castlegar, BC in , right after the 9am Holy Mass!

Join us as we praise and worship the Lord.

Build wonderful relationships.

Listen and reflect with the wonderful talk.

And of course, share stories over food!

This gathering is absolutely FREE!

Thru the generous donors from Feast Light - West Kootenay, we were able to help purchase 450 pairs of slippers for the students of Babuyan Claro in Babuyan Island (Northern most island of the Philippines).

Thank you to Fr. Rommel Olivar, OP of the Dominican Province of the Phillipines for facilitating the purchase and the distribution of the slippers.

Thank you to all of the donors for their generosity!

To the kids who received the slippers, May the good Lord continue to bless and guide you!

We are excited for you as you continue reaching for your dreams!

“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Psalm 37:23

Some delays carry protection. Some changes carry mercy. Even the path you did not plan can still lead somewhere good when God is the One guiding it.

Let us pray...

Lord, help me trust the turns I did not expect. Give me peace in the places where plans changed, and confidence that Your direction is still good. Amen. 🙏

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” Romans 8:28

While you worry about what is next, God is already there arranging every detail for your good.

What feels uncertain to you is already known to Him. He goes ahead of you with wisdom, grace, and perfect timing. You may not see the full picture yet, but you can trust the One who does.

Let us pray...

Lord, calm my anxious heart and help me trust You with what comes next. Remind me that You are already ahead of me, making a way in every detail. Amen.
