Nelson Storytelling Guild It was a dark and stormy night, late in 2011 when six Nelson storytellers gathered to create the Nelson Storytelling Guild. Please join us.

Gratitude to the land and sinixt, we are an inclusive and encouraging group of story interested folks in Nelson, BC fostering and sustaining the Oral Tradition at the root of all cultures lim̓lm̓tx lim̓lm̓tx lim̓lm̓tx
Thank you Thank you Thank you We’ve had fairy tales and trickster tales and myths and legends and stories of deceit and grandeur and courage and cowardice, and those were just the

personal anecdotes that people told of their own lives. Seriously though, our main goal is inclusion. We want people to come and tell their stories - personal or classic, carrying a moral or purely for entertainment. We are inclusive and encouraging, creating a space that is safe to tell in, coaching when asked, just listening, being attentive and appreciative, offering constructive critique, back-patting and very happy to see new faces and hear new stories. At least that’s what we are aspiring to be. A Place to remember:
