East Busk and Cardiac Hill reroute are taking shape! The crews are doing incredible work widening and ditching trails to make them more resilient and improve ski conditions. And the new hill is going to be a beauty.

The old hill grade was over 20%! The new one will still have some punchy climbs but will twist and turn with more manageable grades, and should be able to hold the snow better too.

While most of Clearwater still has sufficient snow we have experienced significant melt on the lower part over the past 24 hours. The lower 1.5 km is very icy with one patch of bare ground so be very cautious. This morning’s groom will be the last of this season unless we receive a large snowfall this week.

Trails and Grooming Update

Good Morning,

As of 8:46 the temperature is -1c. It will be sunny with a high of +9c.

A short section of Cottonwood/Railgrade was groomed today, about a half kilometre past the intersection. Clearwater is also finished being groomed including all the loops. Busk/Euphrates is not being done.
