Our annual survey had one overwhelming request - more trails! Thanks to the DeJong family, we are thrilled to announce the new John and Kay DeJong loop, a blue trail at the summit of the rail trail south of cottonwood lake.

Our crews have been hard at work getting it prepared for when the snow arrives and our grooming team can do their thing!

A huge thanks to the Regional District of Central Kootenay for giving us permission to groom 2km of the rail trail this coming season! The expanded trail will run from the rail trail junction near Euphrates Cabin south towards Hall Siding. The extra 4km return trail will allow members and guests to ski over 10km on the Busk side alone!

East Busk and Cardiac Hill reroute are taking shape! The crews are doing incredible work widening and ditching trails to make them more resilient and improve ski conditions. And the new hill is going to be a beauty.

The old hill grade was over 20%! The new one will still have some punchy climbs but will twist and turn with more manageable grades, and should be able to hold the snow better too.
