Tonight, KUFA (Our Academy) had the privilege of recognizing the Bennett family for their incredible continued support of our program.

The Bennett family have invested thousands of dollars into KUFA, helping us maintain a professional, high-quality soccer program while keeping the cost as low as possible for families in our community.

That support means so much more than financial sponsorship. It helps us create opportunities for players, invest in our coaches and continue building something special here in our community.

We simply can’t thank the Bennett family enough. Your belief in KUFA and your continued commitment to our players is hugely appreciated.

Tonight, we were proud to present the Bennett family with a KUFA framed shirt as a small token of our appreciation.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

A massive thank you to Dante and the entire UBCO Heat Men’s Soccer team for making the trip to Nelson and spending an incredible few days with our soccer community.

It was so much more than just a couple of games.

⚽️ U17/18 Nelson/KUFA had the opportunity to compete against a talented university program and experience the level required to play at the next stage.

⚽️ U10–U12 boys and girls were treated to an amazing training camp led by the UBCO players and coaches — an experience our young players won’t forget.

⚽️ And to finish it all off, UBCO took on the Nelson Soccer Alumni Team, bringing together generations of Nelson players for a fantastic night of soccer.

Dante, thank you for choosing Nelson, for bringing your team, and most importantly, for giving your time and energy to our players. The impact of your visit goes far beyond the games.

These are the experiences that inspire young players, build connections and show them what is possible through soccer.

𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝟭 | 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝟭𝟳/𝟭𝟴 𝘃𝘀 𝗨𝗕𝗖𝗢

What a fantastic experience for our U17/18 players as they took on a very talented university program in UBCO.

The visitors came away with a 4-2 victory, but the result only tells part of the story. Our players competed with great character, worked incredibly hard, and embraced the challenge of testing themselves against, high-quality opposition.

A huge thank you to UBCO for choosing Nelson as part of their preseason preparations. Opportunities like these are invaluable for our players and continue to strengthen the relationships within the football community.

Everyone at Nelson Soccer is incredibly proud of the effort, commitment, and quality shown by our players. Performances like this are another sign of how far our club and KUFA Academy have come, and we’re excited about where we’re heading.

Well done to both teams, and thank you to everyone who came out to support!

We’re excited to welcome the UBCO Heat Men’s Soccer Team to Lakeside Park for two fantastic evenings of soccer!

That’s a wrap! What a week at the BC Soccer Provincials!

An incredible way to finish an unforgettable tournament.

U14 Boys – Lost a hard-fought match 3-1 to finish 4th.
U15 Girls – Finished on a high with a fantastic 4-1 victory to claim 5th.
U15 Boys – A dominant 3-1 win sees them bring home the Bronze Medal!
U17 Boys – Finished strong with a 2-1 win to secure 5th.
U17 Girls – Provincial Champions! A dramatic penalty shootout victory earns them Gold. That’s an incredible 2 Gold medals and 1 Silver in the last 3 years!

A huge thank you to Kootenay South Youth Soccer Association for embracing our collaboration this season. Working together has been a fantastic experience, and the partnership proved just how much can be achieved when clubs work towards a common goal.

U16 Boys battled brilliantly but were narrowly defeated 1-0, finishing 6th.
U18 Boys claimed the Bronze Medal with an exciting 3-2 victory. A special congratulations to our graduating Nelson players, who finish their youth soccer careers with medals around their necks.

We couldn’t be prouder of every player, coach, manager, volunteer, official and family member who represented our club with passion, commitment and class.

The season has been a huge success.

Soccer in Nelson is thriving!

And we’re not slowing down…

Our Summer Programs kick off on Monday, with 250 players already registered across our Goalkeeper Academy, Striker Academy, Summer Academy, and FootSkills Friday programs. We can’t wait to get back on the field!

BC Soccer B Cup Provincials – Day 3 Update

Another fantastic day of soccer for our Nelson Soccer teams, with every squad showing incredible determination, resilience, and pride while representing our community.

U14 Boys – Narrowly lost 2-1 to a very talented Soccer Quest side. They’ll now battle for the Bronze Medal! 🥉

U15 Girls – Finished with a 1-1 draw, ending the group stage on 4 points. They narrowly miss out on a medal match after a tremendous tournament.

U15 Boys – A superb 3-1 victory sees them through to the Bronze Medal match! 🥉

U17 Boys – Fell 2-0 in an emotional match. They finish on 4 points and unfortunately just miss out on a medal game.

U17 Girls – A hard-fought 1-1 draw sends them to the GOLD MEDAL MATCH! 🥇💙💛

A huge congratulations to every player and coach. Every team has represented Nelson and our region with passion, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

A special shoutout once again to our collaboration with Kootenay South Youth Soccer Association which continues to showcase the strength of soccer in our region.

Another fantastic day for our Nelson Soccer teams in Kamloops!

Today’s Results:
U14 Boys – Won 4-0
U15 Girls – Lost 3-2
U15 Boys – Won 6-2
U17 Boys – Drew 1-1
U17 Girls – Won 3-0

With one round of group matches remaining, every Nelson Soccer team is still in contention for a medal. An incredible effort from all of our players and coaches, setting up a huge final day of group play
