WOW!!
What.A.Day!!

We hosted 86 girls from communities all across the region—including McCreary, Neepawa, Gladstone, St. Eustache, Minnedosa, Virden, and beyond!

It was an action-packed day full of high energy, team building, and skill development -both on and off the ice.

A day like this couldn’t have been so successful without the help of volunteers:

Thank you to our on ice practice coordinators- Shayna Rempel and Drew Phillips and their helpers- Kirsten Fordyce, Kylie Birch, Jenna Lowry and Jessica Withers.

Thank you to the u18 leaders who helped out today- Avery, Sadie, Kalla, Mandy, Averi, Stella, Bailey, and Lili.

Thank you to Prestyn Phinney for guiding the girls through dryland training at the track.

Thank you to Claire McCannell for coming to present and work with the girls on positive mental health strategies that they can use in their daily life and on the ice.

Thank you to Crystal and her staff for getting the girls lunches out quickly!

Thank you to the dads that helped put the boards out and in during our scrimmages.

Thank you to the moms that helped with all the tasks that arose throughout the day, from working the clock/music, to registration table, to helping in the booth- Pam, Raelynn, Kristin, Becky and Kristin.

It’s safe to day that girls hockey is only getting stronger in our area! The future of girls hockey is BRIGHT!

Preseason skates start tonight! We’ll be there with the last few clothing orders as well as collecting any bond cheques/outstanding payments.

Neepawa Minor Hockey is offering pre-season skates led by Zak Hicks alongside NMHA coaches.

This is an opportunity for our players to get on the ice and shake off the rust prior to the start of the season.

See schedule for applicable age groups and times.

-No cost!

Note - these are not evaluation/ID sessions. We encourage all players to attend.
