Current status: 100 tabs open on my laptop, approximately 1047 tabs open in my brain, and a Google Doc titled, "How to hold yourself together while building a cheer gym."
Because turns out, birthing a brand new cheer academy involves slightly fewer sparkly elements and significantly more corporate paperwork, legal emails, and waiting on official documents than they show you in the movies. Who knew?
But in between the fine print and the coffee refills, I keep coming back to the "why." Cheerleading is something I am so deeply passionate about, and building this space for our community means the world to me. I want a place where our athletes can push limits, build confidence, and find their second family. Every single late night and stressful phone call is driven by the determination to bring this vision to life for all of you.
Speaking of the vision: things are moving! We currently have our eyes on a space and are making an offer. Nothing is completely set in stone yet, and because I like to be prepared, I am still actively hunting for the perfect Plan B just in case. But we are pushing forward every single day.
While the walls are getting sorted, the human element is already locked in. I have curated an absolutely wonderful team of coaches who are currently getting certified, sharpening their skills, and getting ready to coach you and your little ones.
And yes, I did say you, too. Our upcoming parents' team is going to be the absolute bomb. So start stretching, and get your sneakers ready!
