Nanaimo Squash Club

Nanaimo Squash Club Nanaimo Squash Club has been Nanaimo's only member-owned and operated squash club since 1981. We play hard, then play hard, and have fun doing it.

Open since 1981 in downtown Nanaimo, the club attracts a diverse group of players at all levels of ability. Nanaimo Squash Club is a non-profit society owned by the members. It is run by a Board of Directors with a management team for day-to-day operations.

Members, our adopted son Yometh is flying the coop soon and heading off to university. This will be his last week with us and as a show of appreciation for all his work for the club, and the community he has helped build here we would like to host a little send off for him. Come on down for a social hit this Thursday Sep 3rd from 5-7pm followed by drinks and a spaghetti dinner at the bar, hope to see you there!

Members! This is your reminder the annual AGM is happening this Thursday at 7pm in the club lounge. The bar will be stocked, and delicious longwood ale kegs will be tapped. If you want to join the board, have ideas on how you would like to see the club managed going forward, or simply just want to complain this is your one opportunity to do so. Rumour has it Marc will be providing moose and elk burgers for members in attendance. Hope to see you there!

Hey everyone. Short notice but Omi Fontain is putting on a Taco and Beer night at the club. Rusted Rake provided beer on tap. Come down for round robin starting at 4PM today. Event is by donation 50 percent proceeds will go to Squash Club and 50 percent will go to White Rapids swimming club.

We had a great time at our NSC Squash & Prawn night!

Simon Stocks (right) receives the coveted International Prawn-Off Trophy for 2026 from Andrew Reynolds (left) on Saturday night at the Nanaimo Squash Club. His prawn ceviche recipe was voted Number One over the creations of five leading prawn chefs!
