Nanaimo Scottish Country Dancers Come along, have fun, and be involved in an inexpensive dancing environment for everyone Soft indoor shoes are recommended.

Scottish Country Dancing exercises the mind and body in a fun social environment. No experience necessary and no partners needed. Typically, dancing is at Pleasant Valley Hall (6100 Doumont Road, Nanaimo)
on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from
7:30-9:30 PM (September thru April). Summer dancing sometime occurs in public spaces.

Come out to dance or just sit and listen to great fiddle music!

“Swing your partner and do-si-do! Dance to live fiddle music under
the guidance of an experienced dance caller, and learn many of the dances that were central to community celebrations when Canada was still a young country. You do not need any dance experience - we will teach you everything you need to know. Music will be provided by members of Fiddelium. All ages are welcomed! Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move in.

Get your dancing shoes on! Classes resume on Tuesday 23rd September at 7 p.m. The Thursday class begins on 25th September at 7.30 p.m. If you are new to dancing please attend the Thursday class. All classes are held at Pleasant Valley Social Centre 6100 Dumont Road, Nanaimo. Just bring comfy shoes and a smile.

Come dance with us this summer! Summer dancing begins in Maffeo Sutton Park on Wednesday August 6th at 1030 AM. Look and listen for us in the shade by the Lions Pavillion/stage. Wear comfortable shoes. Parking is free for 3 hours. Beginners welcome.
