Another wonderful opportunity for the ladies of Bethany Place to gather at The Bee's Knees Cafe' for our ‘Come As You Are’ Dinner & Live music event! So many contributed to make this wonderful evening possible: Harvest Church for sponsoring this month’s meal, providing cheery center pieces and table favours, plus the super serving team! Additional thanks to our own host volunteers, the gifted Dhiya for her musical offering, and of course, the Chef Supreme, Shirin. We are grateful to you all for being an important ingredient to such a lovely evening!

At last weeks Clothing Giveaway, we again had lots to share thanks to all our donors, especially Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island!!

Last week we held our biannual clothing giving away at Samaritan Place. There were a lot of happy shoppers! Many thanks to our amazing volunteers who pre-sorted clothes, set-up and brought snacks to treat our guests. We are also so very grateful to community partners like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island who provided bags of clothing to supplement the donations we already had, and of course, Island Crisis Care Society who manages Samaritan Place, the faucility we use on a regular basis to run our events!
