Have you ever seen a coral garden?

Join us and watch in real-time an ROV (remotely operated vehicle) dive from the CCGS Amundsen at the Makkovik Hanging Gardens site on July 17th.

There are two ways to tune in:

8pm-9pm - Join us for an evening show with a sneak peek of a new documentary titled "The Hidden Coral Gardens of Labrador"!

The Nunatsiavut Government, Environment and Climate Change Canada and the SeaDuck Joint Venture have been working to track birds in our region to better understand their movements, behaviour, migration and threats they face travelling to and from Nunatsiavut. In partnership with InSileco Inc., we’ve developed a website for communities to follow along!

Through public consultation and outreach throughout the project, community members and students submitted names for our gulls and eiders. You can now check in and track your bird in real time!
