Please remember that there is no Country Jamboree this weekend. It will be the last Saturday of september, the 26.
Also it will be held in the afternoon from 2 to 4:30.

Last year just before the election the government inspected the Nackawic Lions Club to make sure the building was suitable as a polling station. We did not worry as we have had elections before at the hall and nobody complained.
We were wrong. It was stated the building needed a sign so people would know to vote.
So the sign went up today. we would like to thank Dana Stairs and Blake Collier for installing it.

What a beautiful weekend and a wonderful ending to Festival on the Bend.
The Nackawic Lions Club would like to thank all those people who had our Ham and Bean Dinner. We would like to thank the volunteers who prepared the food and the girls from the Miss Nackawic pagent who served.

Did I mention the Bean and Ham supper this Saturday. Yes I did but I forgot to mention the Jamboree which goes from 7 to 9. with a snack break around 8 PM. This a dance with older music and everyone is invited to dance. There is a band called John Stairs and friends and usually there are guests who drop over and play.
As always by donation and all profits are going to area schools for supplies.

This is an important Saturday.
From 4 to 6 is our famous Ham and Bean Dinner. It comes with restaurant quality ham, home made beans, brown bread, potato salad, tomato and cucumber. For dessert we are having white cake with either blueberry or strawberry sauce.
It is by donation and all profits going to local schools for supplies.
Take out service is available.
