Effective May 6, 2026, the County of Two Hills has upgraded to a FIRE RESTRICTION.

This means no new Fire Permits or Fireworks Permits are authorized and currently issued Fire Permits or Fireworks Permits are suspended. Exemptions are internal household fireplaces, incinerators (farm or acreage use only), regulated burning barrels, camp stoves, solid fueled barbeques (charcoal briquettes), liquid fueled barbeques (propane & natural gas), recreational fire in an approved fire pit with grate covering, chimney’s, pellet grills, smokers, and appliances in designated camping and recreational areas

The Christmas Spirit continues !!!! Sunday, December 7, Myrnam Fire Department had their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Event !! Fun was had by all !!! Bonfire bonding .. lol , a little bit of tug-of - war, find the candy canes lol and warming up with hot chocolate and hotdogs… Ohhh yeah .. can’t forget.. a special visit from Santa as well !!!
Huge thank you to Innisfree ATB ( Violet Wusyk Yackimec ) for the donation of wieners and buns! Thanks Violet!! Also so a huge shout out to all who came out to help spread the Christmas joy with us !!!

A little Christmas Spirit this past weekend ! Saturday , December 6, the Myrnam Fire Family ( Myrnam Fire Department ) and Santa added some Christmas Spirit to our community by lighting up our trucks, making a visit to Myrnam Eagle View Lodge and parading the streets of Myrnam with Christmas music and wishing everyone a safe and Merry Christmas !! Love it !!
