Minerva is a beautiful soul who has had a difficult start in life, so she needs a little time and patience when meeting new people. She can be hissy at first and takes a while to feel safe, but for the right person, earning her trust is incredibly rewarding. Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with one or two patient and understanding people who will let her settle in at her own pace.
Once Minerva decides you’re one of her people, her affectionate side truly shines. She’ll roll onto her back to show off her belly, rub up against you proudly claiming you as hers, and quietly remind you just how special her trust is. She absolutely adores having her chin scratched, the more vigorous, the better, and can be quite chatty :) She also has a playful side and loves chasing the laser pointer, proudly capturing her toy once she “catches” it.
Minerva isn’t the type of cat who will demand attention from everyone she meets, she prefers meaningful connections and a home where she can feel secure and loved. In return, she offers a gentle companionship that feels deeply genuine.
