“Proud to mark a major victory milestone in our partnership with BDC —the first Business Elevation Loan has officially been disbursed.
This inaugural investment, delivered through Community Futures Triple R in Morris, Manitoba, represents more than just a single transaction. It’s the first step in what we believe will become a transformative national initiative supporting rural and remote entrepreneurs and strengthening local economies across Canada.
The Business Elevation Loan initiative was built on a shared vision: combining the reach and community knowledge of the Community Futures Network with BDC’s capital and national mandate to unlock growth for small businesses where it’s needed most.
We have ambitious goals ahead: targeting $200M in lending and supporting thousands and thousands of businesses—but this first deal is proof of what strong partnerships can achieve.
