Morinville Centennial Community Gardens Our mission is to promote urban and organic food production and community building in and around the Morinville area.

Community Garden: A group of people who garden in individual plots and/or common areas. A shared space in a neighbourhood where residents who live in apartments or houses without suitable yards can have a place to grow vegetables

Benefits:
-Community gardens encourage communities to feel secure about their food.
-Community gardens beautify neighbourhoods and help bring neighbours closer together.


-Community gardens can educate the public on issues such as organic gardening and recycling through composting.
-Gardening can expose new generations to cultural traditions and promote inter-generational learning
