We are glad to once again partner with United Way Pembina Valley and the Koats for Kids program. A red collection bin will show up in front of our building early next week, and then the distribution day will be here on Nov. 3

Starting Monday, we are collecting donations for Koats for Kids at four locations in Morden-Winkler! Drop off your new or gently used winter gear and we'll make sure it gets to a family who needs it.

We provide space and services for area nonprofits, social service organizations, and community groups to meet with clients, host meetings, or put on events. We have a variety of spaces for a variety of needs.

500 Stephen will hold a Christmas Mini-Market once again coinciding with the Chamber of Commerce's Wrapping Up a Morden Christmas on Nov. 19. We welcome vendors who are looking for a space to sell their wares. We have up to 10 8'x8' spaces available at $50/space.

The Canada Revenue Agency will be available at the Get Your Benefits Clinic to help with benefit and income tax questions.

Learn more about the Canada Child Benefit, Disability Tax Credit, GST credit, caregiver credits, claiming medical expenses, and other tax-related supports. Help will also be available with updating personal information and printing documents such as Proof of Income or Notices of Assessment.

On Oct 22 500 Stephen Community Centre will host a viewing of "Communities Making a Difference" put on by Southern Health. This is an opportunity to hear from a keynote speaker and learn about 6 projects in southern Manitoba that made a difference in their community.
