"Wasa-Nabin" is a Mohawk term meaning "To Look Ahead"

The Wasa-Nabin program provides youth ages 13-18 with support, tools, and healthy activities which build upon and foster their inherent ability to make healthy choices. Programs are based on the interests of the Youth that join the program, and may include youth socials, sports activities, outdoor trips, traditional cultural workshops, arts pr

ograms, community events, etc. Through a cultural framework, youth involved with the program will enhance their skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values, and will demonstrate positive personal choices and awareness of the consequences of their actions.
