Moosomin Armoury Group to save the Moosomin Armoury Building The Assiniboia Regiment also headquartered at Moosomin.

The Moosomin Armoury was built in 1912 by the Canadian Government as a military training base initiating Moosomin's proud military history. Affiliated with this building: 16th Light Horse, A Squadron, in the early 1900's; 10th Canadian Mounted Rifles, 1915;217 Infantry Battalion, and the 101st Battery of the 22nd Field Regiment was based at the Moosomin Armoury. Sixty (60) troops from Moosomin and

surrounding district gave their lives during WWI, twenty four (24) in WWI, and one (1) in Korea. Dragoons, Reserves, and Air Cadets all link themselves to this historic site.
