Don't let this opportunity pass you by . . . Check out the delicate detail! This project is straightforward when it comes to cutting the glass; however, it involves numerous pieces that need to be cut, ground, taped and soldered, which can be quite time-consuming. If you typically work at a slower pace, you might consider making the smaller version.

You have two sizes to choose from: 6” and 7.5”.

Embarking on this project will elevate your glassworking skills to new heights!

For ages 16+.

Please Note:
- You will need hand strength to take this class; successful glass cutting requires 5-10 pounds of pressure by hand.
- You will be standing for long periods of time with this class as well.
- Open toed shoes are NOT allowed in the glass studio.
- Our glass studio is located in the basement of the church; you must be able to navigate stairs.

Ask Darlene what skill level you should attain before gaining access to the glass studio on your own!

Deadline for registration: Midnight, September 2, 2026.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Apparently, I have been making art messes since I was 3 years old. Although I learned my art mediums mostly by trial and error, I did achieve some formal training: Diploma in Graphic Design, 1 year fashion Design and a Certificate in Interior Decorating. As well, I have attended many Art workshops.

I have tried many, many, forms of art through the years, but I always come back to Acrylic & Watercolor. I have been instructing these mediums for over 25 yrs and Stained Glass for about 15.

It's my passion, to see others become passionate about creating! I own a studio at Rocanville where I offer private Art lessons and Paint Parties and some retail art supplies. When I get a minute or two, I even create my own art. I am thrilled to be a part of MVAC and for the opportunity to share my experience with others.

Fill out the form in the link below to register for the 6PM class. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

Please include, in the “memo” section of your e-transfer payment, the name of the person participating and the name of the class being taken.
