💔SCRAPS kitty Delilah is still MISSING …..
September 16 - the day that our little Delilah went missing after pushing out a window screen & escaping outside. She has not been seen since.

Delilah is a very tiny, shy 1 year old rescued Cat who is entirely white with unique calico colored markings on her tail & head including what appears like a multi-tone “Heart” shaped grey splash on her right side . She is spayed & microchipped. She looks very small and may be mistaken for a kitten.

This little girl was born outside last summer & was rescued from an outdoor location with her newborn kittens this spring. She has since been cared for by SCRAPS & was currently being socialized in foster care where she was making amazing progress.

Delilah was last seen in the Normanview West & 9th Avenue N area of Regina (behind the Galaxy/Normanview Cinemas). She will be very frightened and not come if called. If you see her, please do not approach but reach out to SCRAPS with a location immediately.

Ongoing, unsuccessful searches through the surrounding area have not located our scared little girl. We believe she is likely nearby in some of the adjacent housing areas. PLEASE - we ask residents in the area to check sheds, garages, porches, & under decks. THANK YOU so much for supporting us in the search for this little Cat.

Please reach out to us by text/calls to:

🔴 URGENT ….. SCRAPS is reaching out to our community requesting donations of WET Cat food for SCRAPS Cats & kittens.

With 160 Cats and Kittens in our foster care as well as those supported in outdoor colonies (who are needing extra nutrition as we enter into the cold winter season) we are urgently working to replenish our food supplies as our stock is getting desperately low.

Currently, we are caring for many young & compromised Kittens & Cats who are recovering from surgeries or have health issues requiring extra special nutrition in a very palatable quality wet food. Royal Canin Mama & Babies is our currently most utilized food for this vulnerable group.

We are however calling out for all types of quality wet food with these special requests :

🥣 Royal Canin Mom & babies
🥣 KMR kitten milk
🥣 Hill Science Diet wet/dry

🥣 Friskies (a most popular wet food
requested by our fosters especially
our outdoor Cats living in colonies !
🥣 All good quality wet food.

Donations can be dropped off at our SCRAPS “9-Lives Boutique” at the Moose Jaw Town N Country Mall.

For those wishing to donate financially,

♥️InsPURRation for your Sunday - Journey is HOME!

And what a remarkable journey it has been for one of SCRAPS scared little Cats who was initially discovered at a Feeding station with a traumatic injury of her back leg. This poor baby was found with an open fracture & most of her leg missing. SCRAPS set out on a mission to help her……..

After significant effort & a middle of the night rescue this little girl was finally in SCRAPS care. Following emergency amputation of her damaged back leg, recovery from a post operative infection & complications, this little Cat appeared to finally be on the road to healing and what we sincerely hoped would be a happier & much healthier future.

We were devastated & heartbroken to hear the unexpected news that Journey had pushed out a screen in her foster home and was now out in an unfamiliar area alone. The search began. Little did we know that this amazing little Cat had began the most remarkable journey of her life!

Twelve days later, SCRAPS received an amazing message from the colony caretaker at her former feeding station “She’s back”! A resourceful, amazing & determined little Cat (now renamed “Journey”) had unbelievably travelled over 4 km, completely from one end of the city to the other & returned to the only place she had know as home since a kitten. It would take another 19 days of continuous surveillance & a determined middle of the night rescue, but Journey is now back in SCRAPS care!!

After an exam with our SCRAPS veterinary partners at MJ Animal Clinic, it was discovered that Journey is in unbelievably good shape after her adventure & her back leg wound is well healed. Because it is not safe for Journey to live outside in her former location, we are slowly working on socializing this little Cat & ultimately finding her a forever HOME where she will settle in, be loved & discover she is safe, secure & loved.

Thank you to everyone who cared for, searched for and prayed for Journey. For our dedicated SCRAPS foster team, the search is on ……… ♥️
