The Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation Federation (MJWF) is preparing for its largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds set to support a wide range of conservation and education programs across the region.
The organization’s annual fundraising banquet is scheduled for April 18 at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Centre, with cocktails beginning at 5:30 p.m. and supper served at 7 p.m.
The evening will feature a mix of live and silent auctions, raffles, and interactive games, alongside a meal prepared by Charlotte's Catering. Among the highlights are a fishing trip giveaway, a “mystery gift” draw, and a dart game where participants are guaranteed to win a prize.
The banquet has become a staple community event, drawing support from residents and businesses while helping to sustain the federation’s ongoing initiatives. Those initiatives include one of the organization’s most significant long-running projects: its mobile walleye hatchery situated at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park.
With a broad range of programming under its umbrella, the MJWF relies heavily on community support to continue its work.
