National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡
Today, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. We also remember the children who never made it home.
We recognize that many of our members and clubs are situated on Treaty land, the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples, on Turtle Island. This acknowledgment reminds us of our responsibility to learn, reflect, and act in the spirit of reconciliation and respect.
This day is a time for reflection, education, and commitment to reconciliation. By listening, learning, and acknowledging the truths of our past, we take steps toward a more just and inclusive future.
Wear orange, support Indigenous voices, and continue the important work of truth and reconciliation—not just today, but every day.
