What a fantastic 4 days of hockey down in Mooretown! Thank you to all who travelled to our small town this past weekend. It was a pleasure to host the 26 participating teams along with all their fans at the rink!

Growing the game isn’t just about what happens on the ice — it’s about the culture we build around it.

Today was an incredible example of that.

Between their own Mooretown Silver Stick games, the Haldimand River Kings U21 team made a quick trip to Wallaceburg to cheer on their runner, Andrew, and his U11 rep team.

Moments like this show young players what it truly means to be part of a team: showing up, supporting each other, and being positive role models for the next generation. Seeing older player take the time to lift up youth in the game is exactly how hockey grows — not just in skill, but in character, community, and love for the sport.
