Nous sommes extrêmement fiers d’annoncer, qu’avec l’appui de BMO Groupe financier, de la famille Ménard et de généreux donateurs, la Fondation a fait un don de 10 M$ pour la création de la plus importante chaire de recherche jamais créée à l’Université de Montréal : la Chaire BMO – L.-Jacques-Ménard de chirurgie thoracique, perfusion d’organes pour la transplantation et médecine régénératrice.
Depuis plus de 20 ans, la Fondation s’engage à faire progresser la recherche, l’innovation et la formation de la relève en chirurgie thoracique.
Cette quatrième chaire de recherche de la Fondation illustre l’impact durable que peut avoir la philanthropie lorsqu’elle rassemble des partenaires engagés autour d’une même mission.

We are proud to announce that, with the support of BMO Financial Group, the Ménard family, and generous donors, the Foundation has made a $10 million donation to establish the largest research chair ever created at the Université de Montréal: the BMO – L.-Jacques-Ménard Chair in Thoracic Surgery, Organ Perfusion for Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine.
For more than 20 years, the Foundation has been committed to advancing research, innovation, and the training of the next generation of leaders in Thoracic Surgery.
