The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem is a worldwide ecumenical, Christian Order of Chivalry, dedicated to the alleviation of suffering through support for palliative care and the eradication of leprosy, the support of ecumenism to foster unity amongst Christians, and the promotion and preservation of the ideals of chivalry. Membership is open to all Christian persons who support the ideals of the Order. The Montreal Commandery is the local chapter of the Order of Saint Lazarus. Our official Commandery Chapel is the Church of Saint John the Evangelist.
