Le Conseil communautaire est un organisme à but non lucratif, initié de manière informelle en 1942. Le 29 septembre 1948, le Conseil fut officiellement enregistré et entérina ainsi sa mission qui consiste à promouvoir, à améliorer et à maintenir le bien-être de la communauté de *Notre-Dame-de-Grâce et de ses résidents. Le Conseil est l’une des 30 Tables de quartier de l’île de Montréal qui ont chacune pour mandat de rassembler et de mobiliser divers acteurs sur leur territoire, [organismes communautaires, associations, institutions, secteur privé], ainsi que des résidents afin de les associer à un effort concerté en vue d’identifier les besoins de la communauté, définir des actions prioritaires et en assurer la mise en œuvre ainsi que le suivi.

The NDG Community Council is a not-for-profit organization (informally started in 1942, and formally registered in September 29 1948) that acts to promote, improve and sustain the well-being of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce community and its residents. The Council is one of 30 Tables de quartier on the Island of Montreal, each with the mandate of bringing together and mobilizing various actors in its territory (community organizations, associations, institutions, the private sector) as well as residents to involve them in a concerted effort to identifying community needs, setting priorities for action, as well as ensuring implementation and follow-up.
