We are incredibly grateful to TELUS Friendly Future Foundation and TELUS for supporting the Montreal Centre for Learning Disabilities through grant funding that will allow our organization to run the LD+ADHD Club for one full academic year.

The LD+ADHD Club is a FREE monthly support group for CEGEP students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. Through this program, students are able to build confidence, connect with peers, develop new skills, and access support in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Thank you TELUS Friendly Future Foundation for supporting our mission and helping us make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with learning disabilities and ADHD! 🩵

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month 💙👂💬

At the Montréal Centre for Learning Disabilities, we recognize the importance of communication in every child’s learning journey. Speech, language, and hearing challenges can affect confidence, literacy, social connection, and academic success, but with understanding and support, every learner can thrive.

This month, we celebrate the professionals, families, educators, and advocates who help individuals find their voice and be heard.

Let’s continue building inclusive spaces where every form of communication is valued. 🌟

May is Mental Health Month 🌿

At the Montreal Centre for Learning Disabilities, we recognize that mental health is deeply connected to learning, communication, and daily well-being. Supporting individuals with learning disabilities means also supporting emotional health, self-awareness, and access to care that meets diverse needs.

This month is a reminder to keep building spaces where people feel understood, supported, and included.

Looking for a supportive summer activity for your child?

Sports K.I.D.S. Summer 2026 is a space where kids can play team sports, build social skills, and connect with others in a welcoming environment.

🗓 July 11 – August 8
🕙 Saturdays 10:30am – 11:45am
📍 Centre Greene
🎳 Includes a free bowling celebration on August 16

Cost: $100
MCLD membership required ($30/year).

Open to children with learning disabilities and/or ADHD.

Registration is open for Sports K.I.D.S. Summer 2026 ⚽

This 5-week program (plus a bonus celebration!) is designed for children with learning disabilities and/or ADHD to build confidence, make connections, and develop social skills through team sports in a supportive environment.

Led by dedicated volunteers, the program focuses on positive engagement, skill-building, and having fun.

Program details:
Saturdays, July 11 – August 8, 2026
🕙 10:30am – 11:45am
📍 Centre Greene — 1090 Avenue Greene, Westmount
🎳 Free end-of-season bowling party at Rose Bowl (NDG) on Sunday, August 16
💲 $100 (MCLD membership required: $30/year)

If your family is new to the program, a coordinator will reach out by phone to make sure we can best support your child’s needs.
