Our Story

TRYSPACES is a collaborative research project funded by SSHRC. From 2017 to 2023, the project will explore the relationship between youth and public spaces, physical and digital, in Hanoi, Mexico City, Paris and Montreal. The team is made up of interdisciplinary researchers and students, multimedia artists, social workers, city professionals and young people from Hanoi, Mexico City, Paris and Montreal. A total of 13 case studies are being led right now in all four cities in order to build a comparative study between them. TRYSPACES est un projet de recherche collaboratif financé par le CRSH. De 2017 à 2023, le projet explorera la relation entre les jeunes et les espaces publics, physiques et numériques, à Hanoï, Mexico, Paris et Montréal. L’équipe est composée de chercheurs et étudiants interdisciplinaires, d’artistes multimédia, d’intervenants sociaux, de professionnels de la ville et des adolescents et des jeunes adultes de Hanoï, Mexico, Paris et Montréal. Un total de 13 études de cas sont présentement en cours dans les quatre villes du projet dans l’objectif de pouvoir réaliser une étude comparative entre elles.
