Highlight initiatives from the Haitian community in Montreal The Haitian Student Association of Concordia (HSAC) is an organization run by Haitian students with a focus on educating students of Concordia about Haitian culture. We strive to teach and provide a space where Haitians can be Haitians! We have many goals on campus, but the three main goals are to:

1. Make sure Haitians feel at home on

campus
2. Provide the opportunity for ALL students to learn about our culture
3. Make sure we stay represented on campus

Although education is our primary focus, our group of academically driven, and influential member seek to add some pikliz into your University experience by providing you with educational events as well as friendly get gatherings!

In celebration of Black History Month, the Haitian Students' Association of Concordia-HSAC is delighted to invite you to the 1st edition of the panel discussion “Kreyōl Pale, Kreyōl Konprann”: A Diversified Panel Discussion Highlighting and Celebrating Haitian Canadians Experiences.

For the first edition, the panel is seeking to assemble diverse members of the Haitian community to initiate a genuine, convincing and enlightening discussion on their unique personal and professional realities as Haitian-Montrealers. Also, our guest speakers will partake into a discussion on Haitian culture and its transcending nature onto the city.

Our guest speakers are:

* Patrick Tardieu (archivist and information specialist)

* Sly Toussaint (founder of Centre Toussaint, educator)

* Esther Calixte-Bea (artist; Concordia Alumni). 

* Christopher Marlot (radio host, performer, artist)

* Cindy Charles (actress, screenwriter)


After the panel, stay amongst us to enjoy refreshments while connecting with fellow attendees.
